After the Unity debacle, the decision has been made to publish the complete video game "Checkmate! My Shogi Club President can't be this Cute!" for free on itch.io, instead of for a price as planned on Steam.

The absolute insecurity in which Unity has installed the indie community by changing the terms of use of its platform retroactively means that there is no choice but to release this game for free. The release date is friday September 22, 2023.
